Dear Students,
It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to Brooklyn Technical High School. I congratulate you on your achievement in gaining admission to Brooklyn Tech and wish you much success as you embark on what is just the beginning of the next phase of a lifetime of learning. In addition to being recognized by U.S. News & World Reports as an outstanding high school in the United States as well as a New American High School, Brooklyn Tech boasts among its graduates Nobel Prize laureates, corporate executives, city and state elected officials, university recognized scientists, engineers, and architects, as well as noted leaders in business, finance, industry, publishing and the arts. That you have chosen to attend Brooklyn Tech is an indication of your personal commitment to learning and potential for success.
William Shakespeare once said, “We all know what we are but not what we can be.” In choosing to attend Brooklyn Technical High School, you have made a significant step in determining your success and achieving your lifetime goals. Our esteemed group of alumni over the last eighty five years can surely testify to the enduring value of the education they received at this school.
